L’ARTE SENZA LIMITI: OLTRE LA PERFEZIONE

L’Art Week Volterra 2025 nasce con l’obiettivo di colmare la distanza tra il mondo dell’arte contemporanea e il pubblico, proponendosi come un ponte tra creatività e società. Un’occasione per riscoprire un linguaggio artistico più aperto e universale, che celebri la libertà espressiva senza barriere e al di là della ricerca della perfezione tecnica.

L’ARTE SENZA LIMITI è un invito rivolto agli artisti affinché esplorino nuove strade, mettendosi in gioco senza vincoli formali e aprendo il dialogo con un pubblico più ampio.

UN’INIZIATIVA UNICA NEL SUO GENERE

L’evento, patrocinato dal Comune di Volterra, dalla Regione Toscana e da diverse realtà locali, prevede:
   •    Una grande mostra diffusa nelle principali sale espositive della città: Logge di Palazzo Pretorio, Via Turazza, Sala del Giudice Conciliatore, Sotterranei della Pinacoteca.
   •    Eventi e attività per tutta la settimana, tra cui performance artistiche, installazioni, workshop, conferenze sull’arte contemporanea e sul mercato dell’arte, tavoli di lavoro tra artisti e interviste con ospiti di rilievo nazionale e internazionale.
   •    Un catalogo ufficiale che raccoglierà le opere esposte e gli artisti partecipanti.

LOGISTICA, SPEDIZIONI E AGEVOLAZIONI

Per agevolare gli artisti, il nostro corriere si occuperà del trasporto delle opere da Roma a Volterra e ritorno. Dopo la mostra, le opere verranno stoccate e reimballate a Roma, e ogni artista pagherà solo la spedizione dalla sede di Roma alla propria destinazione finale (e viceversa, per chi invia le opere da fuori Roma).

Sebbene la presenza degli artisti non sia obbligatoria, abbiamo attivato convenzioni con alberghi, ristoranti e bar per chi desidera soggiornare a Volterra durante l’evento. Ogni artista selezionato riceverà un badge di riconoscimento, che permetterà di usufruire di agevolazioni in città e di partecipare a tutte le iniziative dell’Art Week.

GIURIA E PREMI

Sarà presente la nostra giuria di qualità, la stessa che cura tutti i nostri premi e concorsi, per valutare le opere esposte e decretare i vincitori della manifestazione.

Saranno assegnati premi speciali e i vincitori potranno ottenere una mostra personale a Volterra tra il 2026 e il 2027.

COME PARTECIPARE

L’evento è autofinanziato dall’associazione LOJELO ART GALLERY (La Grande Bellezza ETS) e nasce grazie alla collaborazione con le istituzioni locali. La selezione degli artisti sarà curata dal nostro team, che si occuperà anche dell’allestimento, della promozione e della gestione dell’intera settimana.

Gli artisti selezionati riceveranno:
   •    Esposizione nelle sedi ufficiali dell’Art Week Volterra 2025
   •    Inclusione nel catalogo cartaceo e digitale dell’evento
   •    Visibilità attraverso la comunicazione stampa e social media
   •    Possibilità di partecipare a conferenze, workshop e tavoli di lavoro con altri artisti
   •    Badge per accedere alle agevolazioni in città
   •    Possibilità di vincere una mostra personale a Volterra tra il 2026 e il 2027

ART WITHOUT LIMITS: BEYOND PERFECTION

Art Week Volterra 2025 was created with the goal of bridging the gap between the world of contemporary art and the public, serving as a bridge between creativity and society. It is an opportunity to rediscover a more open and universal artistic language, celebrating expressive freedom without barriers and beyond the pursuit of technical perfection.

ART WITHOUT LIMITS is an invitation to artists to explore new paths, daring to step beyond formal constraints and engaging in dialogue with a broader audience.

A UNIQUE INITIATIVE

The event, supported by the Municipality of Volterra, the Tuscany Region, and several local organizations, includes:
   •    A major exhibition spread across the city’s main venues: Logge di Palazzo Pretorio, Via Turazza, Sala del Giudice Conciliatore, Sotterranei della Pinacoteca.
   •    Events and activities throughout the week, including artistic performances, installations, workshops, conferences on contemporary art and the art market, artists’ working groups, and interviews with prominent national and international guests.
   •    An official catalog featuring the displayed works and participating artists.

LOGISTICS, SHIPPING, AND BENEFITS

To assist the artists, our courier service will handle the transportation of artworks from Rome to Volterra and back. After the exhibition, the works will be stored and repackaged in Rome, and each artist will only pay for the shipping from the Rome base to their final destination (and vice versa for those sending works from outside Rome).

Although artist attendance is not mandatory, we have arranged discounts with local hotels, restaurants, and bars for those wishing to stay in Volterra during the event. Each selected artist will receive a recognition badge, which will allow them to take advantage of the discounts in the city and participate in all Art Week events.

JURY AND AWARDS

Our quality jury, which oversees all of our awards and competitions, will be present to evaluate the displayed works and select the winners of the event.

Special awards will be given, and the winners will have the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in Volterra between 2026 and 2027.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The event is self-financed by LOJELO ART GALLERY (La Grande Bellezza ETS) and made possible through collaboration with local institutions. The selection of artists will be curated by our team, who will also manage the setup, promotion, and organization of the entire week.

Selected artists will receive:
   •    Exposure at the official venues of Art Week Volterra 2025
   •    Inclusion in the event’s printed and digital catalog
   •    Visibility through press and social media coverage
   •    Opportunities to participate in conferences, workshops, and working groups with other artists
   •    Badge for access to city benefits
   •    The chance to win a solo exhibition in Volterra between 2026 and 2027
